Kenturn spindles: providing the strongest backbone for CNCs
An exclusive interview with the General manager of Kenturn Mr. Yeh
The main products that Kenturn will reveal at TIMTOS this year would be tool grinding machine spindle, built-in spindle, belt-drive spindle, and inner bore grinding spindle. These spindles are based on the logic of diversifying needs from the international market. The general manager of Kenturn Mr. Yeh emphasized that ‘creativity’, and ‘flexibility’ are the essence of the company, and what they insist while developing new products. The five new product series completely reflect the present transformation in CNC machining centers. One of the outstanding features of Kenturn is that the spindles could also inhibit heat and assist thermal deformation by using the German’s original OTT HSK-A63 drawbar system. Besides, the oil-air lubricating bearings can stand long-term cutting operations. The motor power of the spindle is up to 25KW, while speed reaches 18000 RPM. By using dual drive chunk, the spindles can be used in vertical machining centers and medium gantry machine.
In the future, Kenturn will keep on the company’s R&D strength, and improve the level of operational stability, as well as prolong tool life. These attempts in turn are to be actively engaging with the concept of intelligent manufacturing, while providing reliable and highly efficient spindles for machineries.
